Registration for the 2011 Trieste James Joyce School is now available. The annual program constists of lectures, weekly seminars, and social and cultural events in Trieste.
Speakers include Frank Callanan S.C. (Dublin), John Coyle (University of Glasgow), Ron Ewart (Zurich James Joyce Foundation), Finn Fordham (Royal Holloway, University of London), Ariela Freedman (Concordia University), Márta Goldmann (University of Savaria), Laura Marcus (University of Oxford), John McCourt (Univesità Roma Tre), Katherine Mullin (University of Leeds), Salvatore Pappalardo (Rutgers University), Caroline Patey (Università di Milano), Laura Pelaschier (Università di Trieste), Erik Schneider (Independent Scholar, Trieste), Fritz Senn (Zürich James Joyce Foundation), Amanda Sigler (University of Virgina), and Sara Sullam (Università di Milano). The guest writer-in-residence will be David Wheatley.
Full and partial sholarships are currently available to students and, to those wishing to apply, should submit a letter of application, CV, and letter of reference to John McCourt (mccourt@units.it) by April 22, 2011.
