JJQ, 46.1 (Fall 2008), features articles by John Gordon, Paul Stasi, Alistair McCleery, Michael Spiegel, Sebastian D.G. Knowles and Bill Brockman’s Current JJ Checklist (105).  This issue features on the front a “tunc” image from the Book of Kells Stained Glass Colouring Book, Dover Press, 2006, with colors chosen by members of Sebastian Knowles’s Finnegans Wake graduate Seminar, Ohio State University, Spring 2004. Also, the back cover features the Finnegans Wake map, which was created for the class by Michael Meagher, now of Brooklyn College – CUNY, with main-title lettering by Matt Mendlik.  The table of contents for the recent issue is listed below:

* “Abstracts” is a newly created section in the JJQ which, as the name suggests, will supply abstracts of all the articles included within the issue. This is keeping in line with what other journals, especially ones listed on ProjectMuse, have done in order to make the scholarship more accessible and pertinent to researchers. Enjoy!

As part of our recent drive to create a stronger online presence for the JJQ, we’ve begun fleshing out a few of the more useful dimensions of the JJQ homepage, including a searchable 50-year Index, a resources page featuring various Joyce-related websites, an archives page of past issues (continually developing), and full-text options available through JSTOR and Project MUSE.
