The Institute of English Studies at the University of London will offer a week long T.S. Eliot International Summer School this year from July 10-17. This program will include readings from Eliot’s poetry by prominent actors and actresses, lectures offered each morning pertaining to Eliot’s life and work, and seminars held in the afternoons for in-depth discussions. Because places will be limited and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis, be sure to submit your application before the deadline, June 16.
This academic program will bring together some of the most distinguished international scholars in both Eliot studies and Modern Literature: Massimo Bacigalupo, Jewel Spears Brooker, Ron Bush, David Chinitz, John Haffenden,Nancy Duvall Hargrove, Mark Ford, Iman Javadi, Hermione Lee, Jim McCue, Gail McDonald, Marjorie Perloff, Stephen Romer, Ronald Schuchard, and Wim Van Mierlo.
