The current issue of JJQ, 47.1 (Fall 2009), is available for ordering and online through Project Muse, featuring articles by David Ben-Merre, Sara K. Crangle, Claudia Rosenhan, Horst Breuer, Len Platt, and Bill Brockman’s Current JJ Checklist (108). The front and back covers for this issue feature woodcut images, The Sting of Conscience (front) and Despair (back), taken from the pamphlet Hell Opened to Christians, To Caution Them From Entering Into It, by the Reverend F. Giovanni Pietro Pinamonti, S.J. The pamphlet is held at the Boston Public Library, and we are grateful to John Paul Riquelme for providing the prints. Copies of the current issue are available to subscribers.
