Front Cover: The cover image was created by Spencer Everett, a member of the University of Tulsa Third Floor Design, a student-operated graphic-design agency under the direction of Teresa Valero. It is a collage of thumbnail sketches of previous JJQ covers.

Front Cover: "Portrait" by Heather Ryan Kelley is a 15 x 11-inch collage created in 2012, representing page 169 of 1959 Viking Compass Edition of Finnegans Wake and based on the 1918 Zurich photo of James Joyce held in the Poetry Collection at the University of Buffalo, SUNY. Kelley is making a collage per page of the Wake in a series called "Studies After Finnegans Wake: The Midden Heap."
